Exploring the principles of flight starting with Sir George Caley's Whirling Armand Caley's first model glider from the 1800's

What produces lift and what provides control and stability? Teams work with volunteer engineers to build and fly their own gliders 

Converting gliders for Radio Control flight to enable two of the pupil's aircrafts to fly in formation in the school hall. 

Parents joined at the end of the school day and each team presented aspects of the learning from the day as well as showing off their engineering and flying skills with a thrills and spills airshow
