Added 24th October 2011

Rolls-Royce sponsored Avon Scouts to run this activity with My Future My Choice Shipwright and 100 Scouts

Avon Patrols are quickly briefed in two sessions and building work begins with the "Giant Scouts" from Rolls-Royce supporting

Each Patrol sends Scouts to gather information from the Coastguard and Royal National Lifeboat Institution

Information is synthesised and displayed  on each patrols boat. Scouts spotted the need to register their boat with the Coastguard before sailing it.

The boats were judged by shipwrights with advice from RNLI and Coastgaurd

Winners receive prizes from the Roll-Royce volunteers

Rewards for attitude, wit and communication are needed next time -
